Utilizing steels for making buildings

Buildings made up of bamboos, bricks, glasses are very common today, but have you thought of constructing buildings with steels? Many of us don’t know this and not even seen any such buildings. But it is true that we can construct steel buildings.

Steel buildings are basically a structure of metal which is fabricated with steels both for interior and exterior support.  These buildings can be used for storage purposes, warehouse, work places and even solve the purpose of accommodation.  Steel building Canada were originated in the early 20^th century and gained popularity due the effective costing. With the time the design capabilities have also enhanced to provide us with the best infrastructure. As compare to other materials, steel is considered as a green material because it can be recycled again and again.

Steel buildings compromises of basically five components which are necessary to make a steel frame, they are, firstly tension members, secondly compression members, thirdly bending members, and then combined force members and connections. All these components work together as a one function unit and make a steel frame. Common types of steel frame buildings are either straight walled or arched shaped.  Thus like the way we construct the buildings using concrete, we can also construct the steel buildings, though procedure is different but purpose remains same.
